Three in depth researched exhibits and events


1) Inside the circle of fire: A Sheffield sound map (Millennium gallery)

 Purpose: To showcase Chris Watson's work 
Content: A collection of sounds mapping sheffield
Target audience: Sound recording enthusiasts
Design/Style: 
Location: Millennium Gallery, Arundel Gate, Sheffield, S1 2PP.
Suitability: The exhibition is suitably placed as it is a central location and has easy access due to the near by train line and bus interchanges.

This exhibition has been done by Chris Watson a well established sound recorder. His exhibition is of sounds that map Sheffield and reflect what the city is about.

An exhibition to explore the development of colour and how it has changed due to synthetic dye. Also this exhibition features Art by Ella Robinson, her sculptures are of materials and objects she has found.




Designed to shine
Millennium gallery
16th February 2013 - 13th October 2013
This exhibition is part of the 100 years of stainless steel which is a year long celebration to commemorate the occasion. Designed to shine showcases the diversity and quality of the products created in sheffield.



Tramlines
Multiple locations across Sheffield centre
19th July 2013 - 21st July 2013
This event was designed to entertain a large audience and showcase what sheffield has to offer. Tickets were available on the day which enabled the ticket holder to access any venue.



The Blk Art group
Graves Gallery
27th August 2011 - 24th March 2012
The Blk Art group was formed in the 1980's by a radical group of young black artists. The art on display was some of the groups more significant work including the Britannia Hospital series and Black  Assassin Saints.
